POSE-TERS
Anyone who is a Graphic Designer will have seen (or taken part in) POSE-TERING at some point in the recent years. What is Posetering? I like to use it when describing the act of having your photograph taken whilst holding a poster. Now I do not have anything against poseters, they make me smile... But I do find interesting how it has become almost a statement in itself. While the use of the human body gives a sense of scale it has become somewhat of an embellishment. Is it necessary to Pose-ter to show other designers that you are a contemporary designer? Info Graphics, Birds & Triangles. Now surely this represents the current zeitgeist.
